Because it is run by one person, replies usually take a few days rather than minutes. Every message is read, and corrections about the data are the ones we act on fastest.

Good reasons to write

• A number looks wrong for a town you know well, and you can say why.
• A public data source we should be using.
• A privacy or data request (see our Privacy Policy).
• Press, partnership, or general feedback.

Reporting a score that looks off

The most useful thing you can send is a specific, checkable correction. Name the town and state, what the score showed, and what you would have expected, along with anything local we might be missing, such as a known mosquito hotspot or a habitat detail. We would rather fix something than leave it wrong, and a concrete example is far easier to trace than a general impression.
